Hey there and welcome to another "Blurb"! This week has been rough I'd say in the way things have been lately. It seems like as each month goes by, it has been tougher and tougher to do a short video each week, or sometimes twice a week, like I have been doing. I am taking some time to get things in order and see where I want to go. UPS has been really tough on me lately (mostly due to the new boss and all) but at the same time, I am getting things together for our move to Delaware in the next couple of months. And speaking of UPS, I won't be able to transfer my job to a different location, unless I go to school full time in Delaware, which is not happening. And since I don't want to start from day one for the third time at UPS, I have been an avid Monster job searcher the past few days just finding what I can get. I have sent out numerous applications in the field of New Media and other related aspects of that field that I have interest in. I'd like to make film, photography, writing, and web design a full time job and make HG Films more of on the side than usual. This doesn't mean HG Films is done and no more. No way that is happening!! I will be around at the tracks for sure! Main reason why its been not too great lately has been the economy. It's rough now and remember, HG Films is just me. One person. I pay for my travel expenses, which include the flights, hotels, gas, food, etc. I do it all. Now with gas about the same price as a Baconator at Wendy's, it is starting to dig out my wallet very deeply. So, for now on, until things get better, I won't be doing any short videos from the local races I attend. It kicked in last weekend at the Broome-Tioga LL area qualifier and yes, the short videos I do online are popular and everyone wants to check them out. But I believe by taken my time to travel and film these races and then going home to spend 1-2 hours capturing and 2-4 hours editing and not getting anything out of it other than web hits is just not working out for me now. I want to do it for all of you racers out there but now, it has taken a burden on me and I can't do it like this. But I have some separate big plans for this year that I will continue to focus on! So, you will be seeing my work but not on a weekly basis like usual. I will, though, be putting up 2 videos hopefully soon. These videos will be one of the very, very few local race videos I'll put up at MotoXposure.com this year. Those videos coming from the Southwick and Broome-Tioga LL Northeast area qualifiers. I am still working a deal with Surfdog records on getting some music over and that has been the delay with the videos. Keep checking back to MotoXposure.com to see if they are up!!
