(Short
Lived) Racing Career: I started riding in 1997 and my first race was at Walden MX in
1999 on a 1997 Honda CR80. Jumped up to a YZ125 in 2000 and raced in
the back of the pack in 2000 and 2001. Stopped riding the CR80 in late
2000 after some of my first top 10 finishes in the Senior Mini class.
In late 2001, I switched to (at the time) the new YZ250F and improved
greatly into 2002. 2002 was my best season by taking wins at a few races
in the C classes. In early August 2002, I broke my collarbone at Happy
Ramblers and was out for 8 weeks. Came back for 2 races to finish out
2002. In March 2003, I had a bad concussion at the LL Area Qualifier
at Doublin Gap that took me out of racing for 2 1/2 months. During that
time is when I started writing and taking pics for Cycle News. Came
back on July 4th in the B class and finished mostly in the top 10 throughout
2003. I jumped up to a 250cc 2 Stroke in 2004 and raced a couple of
races but I was paying more attention to the photo gig at the time.
Then, in late September 2004, I had a life threatening head injury while
practicing for the KROC that year. I suffered a grade 3 concussion,
cracked sternum, and bruised lung. That injury took me out of racing
and have not done a race since July 12th, 2004. I have been riding at
times throughout the last 3 years but just having fun and staying on
two wheels and just focused on pursuing a full time film career.

Stats: 2003 - First event I covered was a local race
at Atco and had my work posted on Holeshot Graphics' site (a site I
maintained and designed). The week after that race, I was accepted by
Cycle News to write up race reports for their newspaper. I did that
for the remainder of 2003 and into 2004. 2004 - Focused more on photography and started doing
work for Motorcycle Racing Action and Moto East Magazine. After my career
ending injury riding in September 2004, I took a couple of weeks off
and came back and covered the US Open in Las Vegas for Moto East Magazine. 2005 - Dedicated the year to improving my photography
skills and did some writing. But in April 2005, I picked up a video
camera and filmed my first race at the first ever race of the Delmarva
Series at Blue Diamond Park. I posted my short videos on Holeshot Graphics
and did photo work for Moto East at 5 pro nationals and Loretta Lynn's.
Then, I used the footage I shot in 2005 and produced "Moto Xposure:
The Best of Northeast Amateur Motocross". I also got hooked up
with Shift Racing and contributed photos from KROC that year. 2006 - After a successful first year with film, I decided
to stay more with film and take photos at random events. I picked up
a better video camera and went on to film for Moto Xposure 2 and released
the DVD on January 31st, 2007. I contributed two short videos to Shift
Racing ("Shift Young Guns" and "Shift/Loretta Lynn's
2006". I covered the first ever New England Regional Championship
for Amateur MX magazine. I also started doing work for Racer X Films
with my tribute video of James Marshall I filmed in Winter 2006. Then
I did a video from KROC and Barry Carsten "Fright Laps" Halloween
video. 2007 - Moto Xposure 2 does very well and ended up releasing
the third installment of the Moto Xposure video series with "Moto
Xposure 3: The Xposure Continues". MXP3 was released on December
15th, 2007. I covered the World Mini Grand Prix and Loretta Lynn's with
daily video updates each day, which were displayed on this site. I did
more work for Racer X by helping out film for their new Racer X Motocross
Show at four pro nationals. I also did a short Unadilla preview video
from Frozen Ocean in New York. I did my first ever same day coverage
show called "The KROC Show" from the KROC at Englishtown,
NJ. That was also done for Racer X.
